PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT (English)

This Statement of Personal Data Protection from “TAXI ANTONIO, obrt za usluge prijevoza” applies from May 2026 and is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

“TAXI ANTONIO, obrt za usluge prijevoza” processes your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and national laws under that Regulation, applying appropriate technical and security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss or destruction.

This Statement describes what data we collect, how we process it, for what purposes we use it, and your rights in relation to your data.

If we use external service providers to process your personal data, this constitutes processing on order (data processing agreement), and we remain responsible for the protection of your personal data.


Types of Personal Data We Process

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

a) Identification data: First name and last name

b) Contact information: Email address, mobile phone number

c) Booking and travel information: Pickup address or location, destination address or location, travel date and time, number of passengers, flight or vessel number (where applicable), child seat requirements, and any additional requirements specified at booking

d) Payment information: Chosen payment method (bank transfer or card), chosen payment amount (deposit or full payment). If paying by card, payment transaction data is processed by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.


How Long We Retain Your Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Booking and travel information is retained for 5 years from the date of the booking, in accordance with Croatian accounting and tax legislation.
  • Communication records (email, WhatsApp messages) are retained for 2 years.
  • If a booking is cancelled before travel, we retain only the minimum data required for accounting purposes.

After the retention period expires, your data is securely deleted.


Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure — you have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to restriction — you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
