Who Is Antonio?

A Local Face, Not a Call Centre

I was born in Šibenik in 1993 and have spent my whole life on this stretch of coast. I first built my taxi and transfer work in Šibenik, and you will still find that side of what I do at taxisibenik.hr.

In November 2024 I moved back to Piramatovci, my home village between Šibenik and Skradin, where I live with my wife and two young children. Being based here, I drive more and more in and around Skradin, the boat gateway to Krka National Park, so in the summer of 2025 I set up this site, taxiskradin.hr, for everyone travelling to, from and around Skradin.

I am not a call centre, a booking platform or a faceless company. I am a local person who knows these roads, these towns and this coastline inside out, and I want every passenger to feel like they have a friend in Skradin.

Over a Decade Behind the Wheel

I have worked as a professional driver for more than ten years. My career began with local taxi services in Šibenik, expanded to Zagreb for one year, and included two winter seasons in Austria operating airport transfers from Salzburg, Innsbruck, Munich, and Klagenfurt to Alpine ski destinations.

I founded TAXI Antonio officially in May 2022. I believed there was space on the market for a driver who does things differently, someone who communicates clearly, shows up on time, and takes full responsibility.

Why I Work Differently

I operate without intermediaries between passengers and myself. I respond personally to messages, confirm bookings directly, and take responsibility for any issues. I built this website myself, and that same attention to detail extends to vehicle maintenance and customer service.

One Driver, One Standard

Small Operator, Bigger Advantage

When you book TAXI Antonio, you get me: the same driver who answered your message, confirmed your booking and knows exactly where and when to collect you. No shift rota, no random driver, no call centre passing you around. That personal, one-driver service is the whole point, and it is why so many guests come back and send me their friends.

Being a small operator does not mean being on my own. Over the years I have built a network of hand-picked, reliable colleagues between Zadar and Split, drivers I know personally and trust with my own passengers. On the rare occasion I am already booked, or something ever goes wrong with the car, one of them steps in, and I always tell you in advance exactly who and why. You are never left stranded at the kerb.

The same network covers the bigger jobs. My Škoda Superb seats up to four passengers with luggage. If you need a van for a larger group or a lot of bags, I arrange it through a trusted partner and stay your single point of contact from the first message to the drop-off. One person to deal with, a whole network behind him.
