Terms and Conditions – Taxi Antonio (taxiskradin.hr)

By submitting a booking request through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not proceed with a booking.


1. Definitions

  • Service Provider refers to Antonio Šakić, operating the taxi service at taxiskradin.hr.
  • Customer refers to any person who submits a booking request through the website, by email, or via WhatsApp.
  • Passenger refers to the person(s) who will be transported. The Customer and Passenger may be the same person.
  • Booking refers to a confirmed reservation for a taxi service, confirmed only after advance payment has been received.
  • Transfer refers to a private taxi ride from a specified pickup location to a specified destination.

2. Booking Procedure

2.1. Bookings can be made through the online booking form at taxiskradin.hr, by email at info@taxiskradin.hr, or via WhatsApp at +385 99 447 1013.

2.2. A booking request is not a confirmed booking. The booking is confirmed only after the advance payment has been received and the Customer has received a written confirmation by email from the Service Provider.

2.3. The Customer must be at least 18 years of age.

2.4. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all booking details provided (pickup location, destination, date, time, number of passengers) are accurate. The Service Provider is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the Customer.

2.5. Bookings should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled transfer. During peak season (June to September), earlier booking is strongly recommended to ensure availability.

2.6. Prices displayed on the website are valid for online bookings only.

3. Payment Policy

3.1. Advance payment is required to confirm all bookings. No booking is confirmed without advance payment.

3.2. The advance payment amount is as follows:

  • For transfers priced above €20: a deposit of 20% of the total transfer price, with a minimum of €20, is required.
  • For transfers priced at €20 or below: full payment in advance is required.
  • The Customer may also choose to pay the full amount in advance regardless of the transfer price.

3.3. The remaining balance (if a deposit was paid) is due to the driver upon arrival on the day of the transfer.

3.4. The Customer may choose one of the following payment methods for the advance payment:

  • Bank Transfer (SEPA): Payment is made directly to the Service Provider’s IBAN. The booking will be confirmed once the transfer is received. SEPA transfers within the EU/EEA are processed instantly or within one business day.
  • Credit/Debit Card: Payment is processed online at the time of booking.

3.5. Payment method instructions will be provided by the Service Provider via email following receipt of the booking request.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Cancellations must be communicated in writing by email to info@taxiskradin.hr

4.2. The following refund conditions apply based on the time of cancellation prior to the scheduled transfer:

4.3. The €10 deduction for card payments reflects non-recoverable payment processing fees charged by the card network, which are retained regardless of refund. The Customer acknowledges and accepts this condition at the time of payment method selection.

4.4. Rescheduling: The Customer may reschedule their transfer at any time before the scheduled departure at no extra charge. Rescheduling does not count as a cancellation. The advance payment is transferred in full to the new booking date.

4.5. If the Service Provider cancels the booking for any reason, the Customer will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, regardless of payment method.

5. No-Show Policy

5.1. If the Customer or Passenger does not appear at the agreed pickup location within 15 minutes of the agreed pickup time without prior notice, the transfer will be treated as a no-show.

5.2. No refund will be issued for no-shows.

5.3. In the case of airport and ferry port pickups, the Service Provider will monitor arrival information and allow reasonable additional waiting time in case of documented flight or vessel delays at no extra charge.

6. Changes to Booking

6.1. Requests to change the date, time, or route of a confirmed booking must be submitted in writing as early as possible.

6.2. Changes are subject to vehicle availability and must be confirmed in writing by the Service Provider.

6.3. If the revised transfer price is higher than the original, the Customer will be required to pay the difference before the change is confirmed. If the revised price is lower, the difference will be refunded or deducted from the remaining balance.

7. Passenger Obligations

7.1. All passengers must comply with Croatian traffic laws and the reasonable instructions of the driver.

7.2. Passengers are not permitted to enter the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that may affect behaviour or safety. The driver reserves the right to refuse service in such cases without any obligation to issue a refund.

7.3. Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times where fitted.

7.4. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.

7.5. Eating and drinking (other than sealed water bottles) in the vehicle requires prior agreement with the driver.

7.6. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle through negligence or deliberate action. The cost of any damage will be invoiced to the Customer.

7.7. Child seats are available upon request. The Customer must request a child seat at the time of booking and provide the child’s age and weight. The Service Provider will make every effort to provide an appropriate seat, however availability cannot always be guaranteed.

8. Luggage

8.1. Standard luggage allowance is one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger. Oversized, excessive, or unusual items (bicycles, surfboards, large strollers, etc.) must be declared at the time of booking.

8.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse transport of undeclared oversized items if they cannot safely fit in the vehicle.

9. Vehicle and Safety

9.1. All vehicles operated by the Service Provider are regularly maintained, roadworthy, and insured in accordance with Croatian law.

9.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to substitute the booked vehicle with a vehicle of equivalent or higher category in the event of unforeseen technical issues.

9.3. The driver will operate the vehicle in accordance with Croatian traffic laws at all times. Requests to exceed speed limits or otherwise violate traffic law will not be honoured.

10. Liability

10.1. The Service Provider’s liability is limited to the direct cost of the booked transfer service.

10.2. The Service Provider is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, weather conditions, ferry or flight delays, or force majeure events.

10.3. It is the Customer’s responsibility to allow sufficient travel time to reach their destination, including for flight or ferry connections. The Service Provider does not accept liability for missed flights, ferries, or other connections.

10.4. In the event of a breakdown or other unforeseen vehicle failure, the Service Provider will make every reasonable effort to arrange an alternative vehicle or solution as quickly as possible.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1. The Service Provider processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

11.2. Personal data collected through the booking form (name, email, telephone number, pickup and destination details) is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the booked transfer service.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

12.2. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If no resolution can be reached, the competent court in Šibenik, Croatia shall have jurisdiction.

12.3. While these Terms and Conditions may be available in languages other than Croatian, the Croatian version shall prevail in any case of dispute or ambiguity of interpretation.

13. Amendments

13.1. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on the website at the time of booking applies to that booking.

13.2. Continued use of the booking service following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
